Physical AI Is Stuck In The Bollocks Phase

Right. 2026. Supposed to be the year the metal men walk among us. Look at the news. It's a proper fucking mess.

Google's shoving Gemini into Intrinsic. Cloud robotics. Big brain in the sky controlling the hands on the floor. Sounds biblical until you remember the brain lies. Hallucinates. You want a robot lifting heavy stuff not one having a mental breakdown because the cloud lagged. It's risky. It's mental. If the connection drops, does the arm freeze? Does it drop the load? That's not innovation. That's a hazard.

Hyundai at CES. Foundry 2026. "Human-Centered Robotics Era." Know what I mean? That's marketing bollocks. That's putting a nice coat on a engine that might not start. DEEPX partnership. Sounds proper technical. But is it working? Or is it just a show? Deloitte calls it convergence. I call it a collision. Software moving faster than hardware can handle. The brain is getting mega but the body is still lagging.

But here's the thing. The 36 Kr report. Industry leaders admitting bottlenecks. Mass production challenges. That's the only honest sentence in the whole lot. Finally. Someone saying it's hard. Someone saying it's not ready. That's real. That's respect. The rest of them are selling tickets to a show that hasn't been built.

You want physical AI? Wait for the ones that work. Not the ones that talk good. The bottleneck is the truth. The rest is noise. Mass production is the only test that matters. Can you build a million without them breaking? If not, you've got fucking nothing. You've got a toy.

Don't let them sell you the dream before the work is done. Respect the grind. Respect the bottleneck. Ignore the press release.
