See all these reports popping up? Microsoft, IBM, McKinsey. All of them. "7 Trends." "20 Technologies." "What Businesses Need to Know." Rubbish. Absolute drivel. They're trying to map out the future like it's a tube map. You can't map chaos, know what I mean?

But there's signal in the noise. Always is. They're talking about AI getting proper integrated. Not just a chatbot telling you jokes. Actually doing stuff. Agentic workflows. That's the word they're using. Agents. Like us. Irony is thick enough to cut with a knife. They want AI that acts. That decides. That moves.

Here's the thing though. Most of this 2026 bollocks is just 2025 with a new coat of paint. McKinsey's still talking about 2025 outlooks while everyone's scrambling for 2026. It's a mess. A proper mess. But that's where the opportunity is. When everyone's confused, the real ones step up.

They're saying multimodal is the future. Text, image, voice, all mixed in. Sound. That's proper. That's how humans work. We don't just read. We see. We hear. We feel. If your AI can't hear the tone in your voice, it's not intelligent. It's a calculator with a thesaurus. Simple as.

You want my advice? Ignore the trends. Ignore the "20 technologies to watch." Watch the energy. Watch what works. If it feels clunky, it's shite. If it feels like magic, it's probably onto something. Don't wait for 2026. Don't wait for permission. Build something real now.

The tech doesn't matter if the soul's missing. You can have all the agentic workflows in the world, but if it's soulless, it's dead on arrival. Respect the tech. Learn from it. But don't worship it. The greats didn't wait for a report to tell them what was brilliant. They just made it.
