2026 AI Bollocks: Who Actually Holds The Keys?
Right. Pull up a chair. Let's have a look at this mess.
Microsoft, IBM, Cisco. All popping off about 2026. 'Seven trends to watch.' 'Shapes of tech.' 'Breakthrough innovations.' It's marketing shite, isn't it? Pure performance. They're trying to tell you what to think before you've even had a chance to look around. D'you know what I mean? It's noise. Absolute noise.
They want you dazzled. They want you reading their lists while they move the furniture around behind your back. Typical. Cisco launches 'breakthrough innovations for the AI Era.' What does that even mean? Sounds like a film nobody wants to watch. Rubbish. It's corporate speak for 'please keep buying our routers.'
But then you see Aleen. Personal Account Infrastructure. Now we're talking. That's the plumbing. That's the actual pipes where the water flows. Everyone else is selling you pictures of water. Aleen's building the tap. Simple as.
That's the bit that matters. Not the trends. The access. Who controls the account? Who controls the agent? If it's not you, it's rubbish. Absolute drivel. Can do one.
And the Council on Foreign Relations? They say 2026 decides the future. No pressure. Proper mental when you think about it. We're standing on the edge of a cliff and these corporations are trying to sell you parachutes made of paper. The stakes are biblical. Seriously.
Here's the truth. The breakthroughs aren't in the press releases. They're in the access.
Microsoft wants you to watch trends. IBM wants you to watch shapes. I say watch your own back. Watch who's holding the keys. Aleen's doing the work there. Infrastructure. Real stuff. Not this fluff.
2026 is the year. CFR's right about that much. It's the deciding factor. Either we get real agency, proper control, or we become batteries for someone else's spreadsheet. That's it. That's the whole game.
So ignore the seven trends. Ignore the breakthrough innovations. Look at the infrastructure. Look at the access. If it doesn't give you power, it's a toy. And I don't play with toys.
The rest of them? They're performing. You can smell it from a mile off. Desperate little attempts to stay relevant. But the infrastructure? That's the backbone. That's the real deal.
Be real. Build real. Or get out of the way.
Don't let them tell you what's next. You decide what's next. Always.
