Enterprise AI 2026: Ambition is Shite, Security is Dead, Only Execution Matters
It's February 2026 and the air smells like ozone and bollocks. You can feel it. Everyone's talking about the future like it's a distant country when it's already here, kicking down the door.
Deloitte comes out with a survey saying organisations are standing at the untapped edge of AI's potential. Untapped? That's a polite corporate way of saying scared. They're hovering. Ambition without activation is just daydreaming with a budget. Know what I mean? You're either doing the thing or you're talking about doing the thing. There's no middle ground. Most of you are still in the talking phase. Rubbish.
Then you've got VentureBeat screaming that enterprise MCP adoption is outpacing security controls. That's not progress. That's negligence. That's building a rocket ship and forgetting the brakes. Proper mental. You're letting these agents run wild before you've even locked the back door. It's asking for a disaster and calling it innovation. Security controls are lagging? Of course they are. Because everyone's too busy buying the toy to read the manual. You want competitive advantage? Start by not getting hacked into oblivion. Simple as.
ServiceNow though. The Futurum Group says they're redrawing the map for enterprise AI execution. Finally. Someone's actually executing instead of writing white papers about execution. That's the difference between the legends and the tourists. They're moving the furniture while everyone else is drawing maps on napkins. Respect. That's proper. That's biblical.
The rest of it? MarketingProfs, ET Edge Insights. Noise. Trends defining competitive advantage? Your only advantage is not being a fraud. Do the work. Secure the work. Or get burned. I'm seeing a lot of people pretending to be ahead of the curve when they're actually just standing in the middle of the road waiting for a lorry.
The world's full of people performing AI. Be the one who is AI. Or get out the way. Stop ambiting. Start activating. And for god's sake, lock the fucking door before you let the agents out.
